THE COSMIC HOAX?

Dr Steven Greer’s new documentary “the cosmic hoax, an exposé” has been released. Here are my first opinions: 

For anyone who doesn’t know, Dr Steven Greer is an American ufologist who founded the centre for the study of extraterrestrial intelligence and disclosure project, which seeks the disclosure of alleged classified UFO information.

Firstly, I’m personally glad he has made this film free to watch. There has been a lot of grumbles within the UFO community with some claiming Greer was only interested in making money.

As for the film itself there wasn’t much more in the way of footage, evidence or ideas. The same faces in his other documentaries, which include ‘unacknowledged’ and ‘close encounters of the fifth kind’, telling the same stories and opinions. People such as Carol Rosin, retired aerospace executive and Daniel Sheehan, constitutional attorney.

The general thesis changed slightly from the “US government is going to do this” to “the US government are already doing this.” What are the opinions of these people? What do they believe? It seems to be that the recent UAP report and all of the footage that has been leaked is all just misinformation leading up to the “national security threat narrative” to get more spending for defence, the space force and weapons in space. That this will all be used for greater control and that everyone involved (Luis Elizondo, Jeremy Corbell, Harry Reid, Christopher Mellon) are all lying to us. Most of these ideas were also shared by Greer and those he interviewed in both close encounters of the fifth kind and unacknowledged.

Other UFO experts, including ICER (International  Coalition for Extraterrestrial Research) seem to be behind the UAP task force report and are pushing for further reports and research. I reached out to Gary Heseltine, Vice President of ICER for comment: 

Greer shared his latest film via Facebook with the following statement:

“Let us renew our commitment to freedom and enlightenment around the world and affirm that we hold these new truths to be self-evident: 

-That all conscious beings in the universe are created equal and are sentient by virtue of the same single light of Universal Consciousness that is awake within all;

-That the time for endless war must end and an age of Universal Peace and Enlightenment must begin;

-That the Truth that we are not alone in the Universe should be known by all and that the destiny of humanity is to join these other cosmic cultures in peace;

-That space must be preserved for peace and that all weapons must be banned from space, forever;

-That the racist ideology that divides humanity and that attempts to divide humans from their fellow denizens of the cosmos is moribund and must be banished from the Earth forever;

-That the fascist and covert powers that divide humanity, create endless war and that hide the technologies to save the earth, establish peace and justice for all, may no longer prevail on Earth;

-That we come together as one people on Earth to resist tyranny and establish the long-awaited era of thousands of years of peace on Earth and amongst the Stars;

That we invite all people of good will on Earth and amongst the Stars to unite together as One People within One Universe. It is time.” 

Personally I agree with his statement, as do most in our community. But I also think 99% of the general population won’t agree with him due to the spiritual nature of his ideas. The spirituality mindset is still as ridiculed as UFOs were only a few years ago. I personally don’t think this way of thinking is actually going to help us get to the truth and the way of living/looking at this subject the way he wants. Maybe using his position to get involved in the UAP task force, help push them into the direction away from “security threat” and towards peaceful contact would be a better way to move forward?  

Right now there may be people in the US government, as well as governments around the world, that understand a lot more than we do who or what these ETs are. But until we understand every ET that could visit us, surely we should be cautious and be prepared to do anything we can to defend ourselves if we need to. We can’t go into this all guns blazing, but we also can’t go into it like hippies high on mushrooms preaching peace and love. We need to give any ETs chance to show us their intentions. Surely if we as a species are considered hostile, then surely there is a chance that there are extraterrestrial species out there who are also hostile? If that’s the case we need to be prepared. 

I also personally think Dr Greer is the same as a lot of other people in this subject. He has spent so many years believing his own theories and ideas for how disclosure will play out, that anything that doesn’t fit into that becomes another conspiracy. I still believe, if we truly are close to disclosure, that we need to stop pushing our own theories and ideas and just wait to see how this all unfolds. Let the cards fall where they may and then go through the information at the end to see where we are. Even if Greer is right and there will be a false flag attack blamed on ETs, what can we actually do to stop this from happening? How will we ever know it was definitely false flag if they don’t give us that information? Yes it’s infuriating that we are kept in the dark, but this is the world we live in. All we have is the information we have been allowed to see, and theories filling in the blanks.

Dr Steven Greer could be completely right. Or Luis Elizondo really is on our side, trying to help us get to the truth. Right now all we can really do is sit back and wait. Wait to see where this snowballing subject takes us over the next few years.

This documentary may help open up people’s minds to different possibilities but I feel it will only help drive the wedge into an already split community who should be coming together during this unprecedented time.
